Hot Hot Gossip is an intermedia theatre series that takes advantage of video projection as both content and backdrop set. In each episode, sets are constructed in Photoshop and Final Cut Pro, and in-between segway sequences are shown full-size to allow for story development and set-piece changes. These video components are run live as are sound cues.

Episode 1, Hot Hot Yoga
Projection features Mara's living room. At the climax of the scene, Sam "opens the curtain" of the projected window to reveal her new girlfriend Tina, waiting in the car below.

Segway: Moody driving footage to Sam and Tina's apartment cut to The Gossip's, "Mangled Heart".

Episode 2, Hot Hot Sex
Features Tina's apartment projected.

Episode 3, Hot Hot Therapy
Features Dr. Gwen Tran's therapy office projected complete with big screen tv that is used at the end of the scene to reveal Sam being hauled off by police in a "live" news update.

Segway: Newstory intro with a montage of archival police brutality against LGBT, human rights and other protest events.

Episode 4, Hot Hot Jail Visit
Features a projected prison guard interupted by a full-screen Tina freak-out when a reporter comes to her house with questions about her and Sam's relationship and her feelings of Sam's imprisonment.
